is a set in a valley around an eye shape, where according to legend, the
Goddess Sati eye’s had fallen. That is how Nainital gets its name where Naini
means eye and Tal means lake. Nainital is one of the most beautiful tourist
destinations of Indian state Uttrakhand where tourist visit throughout The year
due to its favorable climate and misty mountains. The popular hill station is
situated in the laps of outer Himalayas of Kumaun region at an altitude of
2,084 meters (6837 ft.) above sea level. Nainital is also popularly known as Naini
Valley which is set in a valley containing a mango-shaped lake and surrounded
by mountains and Naina is highest among all.

Nainital, a beautiful town with a mystic charm attracts tourists almost
all through the year. However, the best time to visit Nainital is from March to
June which is the summer/ spring season in the country. Most people want to
escape the scorching heat in the country and prefer visiting Nainital. For the
snow lovers, a trip can be planned from late November to February which is the
winter season. Monsoons are not always recommended when it comes to exploring
the town as it receives heavy downpour.
